2010.05 install issue

I have just installed using the 2010.05 image 64 bit. (NET install)

One strange thing happened on the first attempt.:/
Just after the start of the package download stage the screen lost all text information and I was left with a grey background only.
Judging by the hard disk activity the downloads might have completed (?) and I guess I was left at the next stage...but with no text to tell me that.

After a long pause I decided to re-install and selected all options the same apart from the mirror choice (thinking that if the mirror was suffering problems this might have caused the install to hang/have issues)
I ran through the install again with no problems, all package information was available to see as the downloads continued, no blank screens and now I have vanilla KDE installed and running with no obvious issues.

I have not experienced this in previous Arch installs.

Has anybody experienced something similar?

Note:
Although not my first install "Beginners Guide" was followed closely.:D

Re: 2010.05 install issue

It occurre again when I was installing arch at vmware server 2.0 with "2010.05 net install i686" .  It's just fine at virtualbox.
After several reboots and setup from scratch, but the problem remained.

Then I try 2009.8 core image and choose the net mirror, the problem occurs again. While choosing the cd mirror, everything is ok.
So I think there may be something wrong with mirror
