I have a skystar 2 card in my main box, all working good. I can stream this to the laptop, but can't change the channel from the laptop - I have to ssh in to the main box and change the channel there. This is way beyond the capabilities of my family and friends, and quickly gets boring for me - channel hopping is a pain if I am in bed.
Are there any programs that allow you to change channel from the laptop? When I ran windows, this was easy using Altdvb, but haven't found anything similar for linux.
