cfdisk error

Hello, I'm once again attempting to install Arch on a Compaq laptop, the devil's computer, that I think Arch could make even remotely useful or powerful.

This time, I tried to use cfdisk to prepare the partitions for dual-booting with my Windows 7 but I got this error:

FATAL ERROR: Bad primary partition 2: Partition ends after end-of-disk
Press any key to exit cfdisk

or something along the line of that. I'm not sure what to do to alleviate this problem, I have no heavy experience in Linux outside of Ubuntu, and I know my disk is perfectly healthy.
What can I do to prepare the drives? I'm sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I'm in a bit of a rush to get this going...

Re: cfdisk error

Ranish PM2.4 noticed exactly with partitions (lba ends out of range...
) looks weird and i used disk surface test on that what i found that last disks cylinders at extended partition is +1  and is 9729 cylinders but real size is 9728 ..reaprtitioned last two - that fixed.

Lucky now, all ok.

Thread (marked as solved): http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=42258

I never saw this error message on my machines. yikes)
