RamJam

hi all,
RamJam is [Ra]ndom [m]inimalistic [Ja]mendo player written right now[ about half hour work :]

What you need ?
Python, PyGTK, lxml for fast XML parsing and gstreamer-python for playing.

I dont have time to develop this but someone have

!!! WARNING !!!
program download gzipped Jamendo database [about 9.5MB]
extract database to file [about 100MB XML file]
then create sqlite database for player [about 30MB].

Program is only statusicon in toolbar
Install to somewhere and first launch make from console [ debug messages ]
Please read text in source.
Dont write me coz i dont want continue develop this little app.

Jamendo is so sweet, but i hate pyjam, i'm thinking about starting my own similar project, thanks for the code to use as an example

Like i say, use it like you wish.
When my 6 y.o hdd died yesterday in agony i havent no music files
Jamendo has tons of good music but now i listening DigitalGunfire radio
