Pacman segfault

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Arch and I'm trying it out in VirtualBox before making a real instalation. I've followed the Arch Beginner's Guide and everything worked well until came the part with installing KDE.
The tutorial asked to update the system with

sudo pacman -Syu

After update, I issued

sudo pacman -S kde

, but the result was

Segmentation fault

I even tried rebooting and using other package managers, but they all segfault.

[dodo@archProba ~]$ pacman
Segmentation fault
[dodo@archProba ~]$ pacman-color
Segmentation fault
[dodo@archProba ~]$ yaourt
Segmentation fault
[dodo@archProba ~]$

How to restore the working pacman? Can just reinstall pacman from the liveCD? If yes, how?
