Hello All,
I have a fresh Arch install using Openbox as a standalone WM. I have a couple of issues that I have not been able to solve by searching this forum or with Google.
1.) I can't seem to get any keybinds to work except for the defaults supplied with Openbox. I have copied /etc/xdg/openbox/rc.xml to ~/.config/openbox and added:
<keybind key="A-F2">
<action name="Execute">
<execute>gmrun</execute>
</action>
</keybind>
to the keybinds section but ALT+F2 doesn't do anything. I'm pretty sure that I am missing something basic here. Can anyone tell me what?
2.) I can't get my Android phone to mount. Normally when I connect the USB cable the phone detects it and gives me the option to mount it. Then it shows up as a USB storage device in whatever file manager I have. I am currently missing some daemon or something because the phone charges but does not offer the option to mount. A regular USB drive does automount though so I am not sure what the difference is. Any ideas? I am using the pcmanfm file manager.
Thanks in advance.

1) My stupid guess, but try changing "Execute" to "execute" (yes, caps...) since I got it that way in my xml and it's working. Make sure "gmrun" is installed and can be ran from the terminal.

Going into the file to try that I noticed that I had added it after the </keyboard> tag. The problem was that I'm a bonehead. Thanks for the suggestion though.

just for the record - Execute works as well.
