Where's the .img images?

Hello,
Where's the .img images for the new release?
As far as I know, the Win32DiskImager only supports .img files.

I can boot from the new ISO files using Unetbootin but it fails after some time hmm
(it thinks it's booting from a CD)

What can I do?
I'm using Windows 7 x64.

Thanks! smile

Re: Where's the .img images?

you don't need any .img images. everywhere says that you can use dd to write the newly isos on a usb

Release Info

All available images can be burned to a CD, mounted as an ISO file, or be directly written to a USB stick using a utility like `dd`. These are intended for new installations only; an existing Arch Linux system can always be updated with `pacman -Syu`.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Oh, I've read (for a longtime ago) that 'dd' only could be used with Cygwin tongue
I'll check it out.

Re: Where's the .img images?

Well, it didn't work.
But I fixed it by downloading the old .img file and used Win32DiskImager.

Thanks for the help anyway smile

Re: Where's the .img images?

Using the old image is really not recommend. Did you try to rename that .iso file to .img? It's quite possible that this app can be fooled this way.
