[solved] automatic suspend without hal dependency?

Hi,

I'm looking to put my pcs to sleep after a period of inactivity. i'm not using hal though and most applications that supply automatic suspend seem to rely on HAL.

Is there a way that doesn't involve HAL?

have a look at sleepd however you would have to remove the dependencies of hal in the pkgbuild. As it is not required anymore

Re: [solved] automatic suspend without hal dependency?

Thanks, i was actually using sleepd up to now. I just had to remove

ck_daemon hal && /etc/rc.d/hal start

from /etc/rc.d/sleepd.
Works without HAL, too.

Greets,
