Okay. When I try to open Abiword, I get:
[xakh@Cato ~]$ abiword
abiword: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomevfs-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[xakh@Cato ~]$
I have no idea what that means.
Solved.
My monitor's resolution changes every time I boot to 1152 x 768, when it needs to be 1024 x 768. I've got wgetpaste, so I can post my config files up if you need to see them, just point me to the ones I need to show you.

The first error is telling you that you're either missing or have the wrong version of gnome-vfs.

you need the package gnome-vfs.
no place like /home
github

I knew it was something stupid. I tried installing it, but I entered the "lib" part, so nothing came up.

Install pkgtools. There's a program call pkgfile in it:
~ > pkgfile libgnomevfs-2.so.0
extra/gnome-vfs
It removes a lot of the work out of searching for stuff.

How did you configure X? http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg#Configuring
Could you post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf if you have one.
Offline
I don't have one.

Then can you post the contents of your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file?
