Pls read this article and invalidate this person's opinion, or not.

Article here

This person is actually passing themselves off as a techie person. His opinion is Linux doesn't work on his hardware so it must be bad for old hardware. There are so many points to refute I felt I would give you all an opportunity to chime in.

If you agree with him please feel free to express those opinions too. Hey it is a free world right?

Posting a link affords the blog far more credence than it deserves...

Don't click and feed the troll.

I agree but I found this article off of my iGoogle home page. It is linked to from LXer.com.

I weighed your  concerns prior to posting this topic but IMHO the amount of people we send there from these forums will be insignificant to the amount of people who will find this in searches and from other sources. The comments that enlighten those to the errors in the article will be much more valuable then ignoring the article completely.

But again it free will is a great thing so click or do not click based on you own personal preference.

I saw that blog post too. The guy clearly has no idea what he's talking about. I wouldn't waste my time posting a comment on his blog.

You are the man!

I still can not believe how much of atroll one single blogging person can be... o__O not only does he misinterprete some facts like the thing with donations, and the it's all about money thing... in his other article that tries to find three reasons why one should not use linux, he also has some WRONG facts... like the one with having to install from sources... well he can have his oppinion, but spreading wrong facts is trolling^100

I think he's been sufficiently rebutted already.  If his goal was trolling, he was successful.  Although the fact that his blog runs on Linux was priceless lol
