Hi, after and upgrade (I think) my sound doesnt work anymore, I checked that the modules where loaded and stuff like that like the archlinux ALSA wiki page suggested, but no luck. All channels have full volume, what can it be?
In order that you guys have a better input to my problem, I downloaded a script called ALSA Audio Debug, so that you have all my sound configuration in case something its wrong.
Here is the output (the card I want to use is the Creative Audigy 2 ZS):

Were you able to get sound working again?
I had no sound when I booted today despite the modules being loaded. I have both an onboard Intel and a Creative X-Fi audio card and for some reason the onboard card was detected first, despite the order of modules in rc.conf. For whatever reason a reboot fixed the problem.
Make sure that you explicitly load the modules in the modules array in /etc/rc.conf and that you list the Intel modules after the Creative modules.

No. sound still doesnt work, but I think the problem has something to do with what you just said, Cause I have a Creative audio card and an onboard audio card as well. How do you load the modules manually? my Creative Audigy 2 zs is emu10k1, so do I just add that to the module array?

ok weird stuff happening. As soon as I posted this, sound is working again, (I just turned on the PC), BUT, rebooting doesnt always work, sometimes still I have no sound, so It should be the hardware detection at bootup?

It seems so.
How do you load the modules manually? my Creative Audigy 2 zs is emu10k1, so do I just add that to the module array?
Here's my MODULES array from rc.conf, with other modules removed for clarity:
MODULES=(snd-ctxfi snd-hda-intel)
I have those two listed at the very end of the array. The other modules in my array (not shown) are not related to sound. Explicitly listing the modules in order seems to ensure that the Creative X-Fi card is set as the primary card. Try adding the following to the end of your array:
snd-emu10k1 snd-hda-intel
Note that the module names use "-" instead of "_".
You can check which card is set as the primary card by running alsamixer. Whichever card it displays by default is the primary one. You can also see the order by pressing F6. If you notice that the onboard is set as the primary card when you get no sound, then it's almost certainly due to the order of detection.
I think I've seen a thread which proposed a different method to set the order of the sound cards. Try searching the forum for "sound card detection" and similar terms to find it if the above doesn't work.
