UZBL Can't Open Links In New Windows After Update

Background:

Since a recent system update, I can't open new windows from within uzbl-browser. I'm running uzbl under WMii.

Problem:

It worked fine before the update, but now it doesn't. I changed nothing else and I used uzble directly after updating, so the update must have broken something.

I've been searching around for answers and I'm not finding much. I've seen mentions of uzbl recently breaking some of it's own functions with the disabling of JS helper objects. I've also seen a mention of a webkit update screwing with how uzbl opens windows.

Also:

I also noticed in the updated version, the right-click menu for text-areas has removed the option for spellchecking and added an option to "Open in gvim". However, the "Open in gvim" option does nothing.

Does anyone know of any changes (to either uzbl or webkit) that may have broken uzbl's ability to open links in new windows or if anyone has already has encountered and deal with this?
