I've always been able to run k3b without any problems. A few weeks ago, I had to reorganise my IDE-devices (i.e. connect them to other controllers) and since then k3b stopped working. When I try to run k3bsetup, I'm presented with a dialog from kdesu asking for the root password. When I enter it, I get a dialog saying "Command 'kcmshell 'k3bsetup2'' not found". :?
I also have to add /opt/kde/bin to my $PATH since a "pacman -Syu". I guess it's because KDE got updated, but that's not really a problem. Does anyone know how to get into k3b's setup? There are no usuable devices now.

Are you running into the KDE upgrade problem as described in the KDE wiki document ? kcmshell is part of the kdelibs package.

I fixed it by reinstalling the kdelibs-package.

I'm getting something similar:
# k3bsetup
_IceTransOpen: Unable to Parse address
Session management error: Could not open network socket
kcmshell (kdelibs): WARNING: Could not find module 'k3bsetup2'.
I'm running this as root by the way. Tried re-installing kdelibs as well but still get this error.
