[SOLVED] avant-window-navigator failing to start.

[madfish@madfish-desktop ~]$ avant-window-navigator 

(avant-window-navigator:4344): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_get_list: assertion `value != NULL' failed

** ERROR **: No panels to create! 
**  Please check that the gconf-schema is installed.
**  You might also try to run `killall gconfd-2`.
aborting...

Any ideas?

It seems to be related to the recent libdesktop-agnostic update. The default configuration backend has been changed from "keyfile" to "gconf". I would say that awn-package needs to be updated appropriately.

If you want to work around it, just revert /etc/xdg/libdesktop-agnostic/desktop-agnostic.ini

...
config = keyfile
...

Currently the better way is to install avant-window-navigator-bzr from AUR. It already includes gconf schemas.

btw;: this should be fixed, as hefti updated the awn packages.
