gtkpod working only as root

I've installed gtkpod on my arch x64 since I'm using mpd as audio player, I can connect my ipod, broswe its content, load my music library but when I try to load some file on my ipod from my library it says "Original filename not available" for any song in my library...I've found out that running gtkpod as root solve the problem...how can I make gtkpod working w/o being root ?
