No session menu in GDM? [SOLVED]

Hi, I have Gnome 2.30 and GDM and I would like to have a custom session and I have made a file for it in my "/usr/share/xsessions" but I can't for the life of me figure how to actually use it from GDM.  It seems GDM was redesigned since I last used it regularly a year ago.  Thanks for the helping me with this stupid issue

WOW! Turns out it doesn't show up if you don't have any other sessions and for some reason my xmonad session was set to not display.  Problem solved.
