New arch ISO install on Zotac via LiveUSB (won't complete live boot)

just got a new Zotac MAG in the mail yesterday and am trying to install the newest Arch ISO.  I've booted 3 times and the boot hangs at "Registered protocal family 1"

the bezel on my HDTV is too big, so I can't really see the edge of the screen, but for what I can see, the last four lines are as such:

P reno registered
P hash table entries: 512 (order 2, 16384 bytes)
P-Lite hash table entries: 512 (order: 2, 16384 bytes)
T: Registered protocal family 1

how can I troubleshoot this? (if necessary, I can grab my old LCD monitor so I can see the entire screen... been coping with it so far with my Acer Revo, never ran into this problem... but I'll do what is necessary to get this thing up and running...
