OpenLDAP, Add basic data (problem)

Hey @ all,

i have a problem by adding basic data to database.

i've found a "HowTo" for installing an LDAP server on Archlinux:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Se … ll_Network

i've allready created the .ldif file and edited the hosts.allow file ... (the server is running)

i wanted to add base data, but ... look ->

unbenanntjiv.jpg

don't know where is the problem, the password is correct but ldap don't accept it

at the last try to add the data, i've didn't enter a password, then there was another failure

need help pls, it's a project for school big_smile

thanks

Re: OpenLDAP, Add basic data (problem)

Sounds like it's the password that's incorrect.  Make sure you copied the hashed password correctly.
