What wm/de are you using? And what behaviour do you expect from "Print Screen"?

Re: Print screen not working

This is most likely because no keybinding has been assigned to the Print Screen button yet. Many desktop environments and window managers provide their own ways to configure keybindings, which WM/DE do you use? There are also desktop-agnostic alternatives like xbindkeys.

I am using XFCE4 and I expect a window to pop up with a preview then an option to save it somewhere.

Sometimes I like to switch to Openbox.

So basically how could I get it working for XFCE4 and Openbox?

Here is my solution for Openbox...

Works great - doesn't present a preview but I find that only slows me down anyway.
