I'm running a mythtv setup on Arch. The only display is my 720p TV. When I work in the console, I can't see the left hand side of the display, or about half of the bottom line. How do I set the margins on the display so that it is displayed within the viewing area? I have a few screens in myth that give me trouble with this, but my biggest concern is the console when I'm not in X.

Ok, I think I have focused my problem a bit more. It seems that the issue I'm dealing with is overscan, which the TV has and which a regular monitor doesn't. I haven't found a way to access the "service menu" on the TV, and from the warnings I've read I'm not sure if I want to. So the question becomes, is there a way to defeat overscan in command line mode?
