[Solved] Mount NTFS partition with ntfs-3g from fstab

I have the following line in my /etc/fstab: `/dev/sda3 /media/windows ntfs-3g noauto,users,uid=45,gid=45,fmask=0113,dmask=0002,rw,nodev 0 1`,  Nothing gets mounted at boot.  When I run the same command after I've already booted, it works perfectly.  I found a guide in the Gentoo wiki and it looks like I'm doing it correctly, has anyone done this and know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Ugh I'm too tired.  I had noauto in the options list in fstab, of course it wasn't being mounted at boot.

Thanks for making me look at that again...

You also don't need that "users" option either.  It is useless for ntfs-3g.

Not sure how you managed to post here instead of your own thread at first, in any case...

Closing this old thread.
