tint2 and pekwm...

Hello, I recent installed arch and got it working well with PekWM with a tint2 panel. However I have come across an annoying problem. The window is always partially behind the panel,

or in front of the panel, covering it up from use.

What I want it to do is make it so maximized windows don't get overlapped or overlap the panel. (If you understand what I'm trying to say. I don't really know how to describe it.)

Thanks.

Re: tint2 and pekwm...

In your tint2rc, try changing to this:

strut_policy = follow_size

Re: tint2 and pekwm...

Thanks for the reply. I added that using tint2conf, killed the old tint2 and reloaded it but now it just doesn't show. Switching the strut policy back to none bring it back.

Re: tint2 and pekwm...

like anonymous_user said, use follow size and adjust the margin

Re: tint2 and pekwm...

AH, I found the problem. My panel wasn't showing when I changed the strut policy because it was to long. Changing the size down 2 px fixed it. Thank you both for the help.
