xdm login password * (astrix)

I really like XDM, I used the man page to make it look how i want, but does anyone know of an option to show '*' to the password box as you type? not that its needed, it would just look that little bit better. i didnt see anything in the man page for it, so maybe not. but if someone knows it would make my day!

Probably a bit late , but to do so use;

xlogin.Login.echoPasswd:  true

in your Xresources file located in /etc/X11/xdm.

A little, haha? The policy around here is don't touch old threads, especially not this old. Take a look at the Forum Necro-Bumping Policy. Since you're new you might want to read through that entire page, it has most of the best policy for here on the forums.
