After receiving the latest pacman (3.4), I've been receiving this error any time I attempt to build a package using a third party tool like clyde or yaourt:
==> Tidying install...
-> Purging other files...
-> Compressing man and info pages...
-> Stripping unneeded symbols from binaries and libraries...
==> WARNING: Package contains reference to $srcdir
==> Creating package...
/usr/bin/makepkg: line 902: * 1024 : syntax error: operand expected (error token is "* 1024 ")I can build packages manually with makepkg like so:
$ makepkg
$ makepkg -i
I've overwritten the the makepkg.conf with the makepkg.conf.pacnew thinking that might fix it, but I'm still running into the same problem.
Is anyone else seeing this or know how to fix it??

Wouldn't mark it solved!
Why should you settle with uninstalling cw just to use makepkg? ![]()
