Hi all.
-I have archlinux on a Compaq Laptop c610 and I'm having trouble shutting down. It gets stuck for 10 or 15 minutes with a black screen and the shutdown message on the screen.
My daemons list is this one: http://pastebin.com/4qCwVqkX and my rc.shutdown is this one: http://pastebin.com/cAZC3jWR and I have acpid installed and configured.
This happens at the end of the shutdown; the screen stays black and with the power off message for a few seconds.
I hope you can help me with this issue since shutting down the laptop can take up to 1 minute.:(

Just a question, did this happen after you installed a "certain" daemon/modules/program or did this occur the first time you actually installed Arch linux itself?
When did the problem arise?

Actually no, it happens in a fresh archlinux install, even without a DE or a new user, and it happens only with shutdown, with reboot or suspend works great, i tried to fix it installing and configuring acpid, but it doesnt make any difference
