Sync SMS of a Symbian Phone

I have a N97 phone. Sync my phone PIM with my desktop environment (EMACS + bbdb + wanderlust + org-mode) is painful. Unfortunately, Nokia does not provide Ovi for linux so I must found alternative and more standard synchronization mechanisms.

In the last days I've started a small prototype to access from my desktop to my phone SMS. I developed a small IMAP server that can be run on my phone. The IMAP server allow my to download SMS and change thair status. Using this approach I've not to implement a GUI, I continue tu use my mail client (emacs + wanderlust + offlineimap) to manage both mails and sms.

The starting prototype can be found http://github.com/guancio/MobiMS.

Any comment and suggestion is welcomed.
