New SSD - Stops at "Verifying DMI pool data.." in BIOS after..[Solved]

Hi,

I got my new Intel X25-V SSD today. I've installed Arch without any problems. But in BIOS it stops at:

Verifying DMI Pool Data .........

I have really no idea what to do now?

I have a Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 motherboard.

Edit: I reinstalled Arch and didnt create a separate partition for GRUB, wich solved the problem.

@Hund - can you comment on the boot times with this SSD?  They're down to $99 now and I'm thinking about it.  ALso, have you done anything with the TRIM command to keep the drive fresh and quick?

Arch is faster. Im pleased, consider the low price. Im using GNOME etc and it boots in less than 18 sec. But that doesnt really mather to me since I only reboot my computer after kernel updates.

I havent done anything, TRIM was activated by default. smile
