Compiling fallback kernel image - hook 'raid' can not be found

After trying to install the kernel from the Live CD, I get the following output:

>>> Generating fallback ramdisk, using mkinitcpio.  Please wait...
:: Begin build
:: Parsing hook [base]
:: Parsing hook [udev]
:: Parsing hook [ide]
ERROR: module 'ide[-_]gd[-_]mod' not found
:: Parsing hook [scsi]
:: Parsing hook [sata]
:: Parsing hook [usbinput]
:: Parsing hook [filesystems]
FATAL: Hook 'raid' can not be found.
>>>Updating module dependencies.  Please wait...

Then I am quickly returned to the prompt.

This is weird because I did not specify the raid hook in mkinitcpio as I do not have RAID hardware.  Also, I'm not sure why the hook [ide] is trying to be parsed because I only have a SATA hard drive.  Could anyone shed some light on what might be the issue here?  Thank you,

Did you find a solution to this problem? I'm getting the exact same situation -- errors on both ide and raid, when I'm using neither. I'm trying to install Archppc on an old mac ibook...
