Hi all,
I have netbook Samsung n140 with atom and intel 945 chipset. I'm trying to control system fan but with no luck.
I ran sensors-detect but it loaded only coretemp module http://pastebin.com/GU1PaKkw
so sensors gives me
# sensors
coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 0: +43.0°C (crit = +90.0°C)
coretemp-isa-0001
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 1: +43.0°C (crit = +90.0°C)
It doesnt detect anything except thermal sensors, so i cannot run pwmconfig.
Any suggestions? (I'm running kernel26-n130 from aur)
Thanks in advance

You might want to read this thread: http://www.voria.org/forum/viewtopic.ph … 44&start=0 and then install "samsung-tools" from the AUR. Also I gather you've read this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samsung_N140 , unfortunately no mention of fan control there...

Samsung-tools with easy-slow-down-manager work preety well. Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem of missing module in lm_sensors but it allows controlling fan anyway The only thing is.. that it doesn't compile on 2.6.34 at the moment. Have to stay with 2.6.33. Thanks for your help:)

I've got this problem too. Will a binary compiled against 2.6.33 work with 2.6.34? Or do I need to run the older kernel to use this?
Thanks.
