EDIT: Original problem with orage and other fonts fixed. My current problem relates to Chromium and certain other type in apps like Thunar. Here's a shot of that. The huge fonts are what I want to bring down to my system standard (bitstream vera sans size 8-10)
ED: Now I'm pissed, my openbox menu font has changed to that ugly, big type ><

Have you made any changes to your .fonts.conf:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Font_Configuration
Also maybe tweak your DPI:

Alright, I did find an issue. When orage got tiny, I checked my gtk font options, and the problem was defined there. Font size was set to 6 or something. I'm forcing 96 dpi via argument to .xinitrc. And no, didn't change my fonts.conf. Just installed Thunderbird .. so maybe something in that package overwrites font settings?
