It does this with both nexuiz-glx and nexuiz-sdl.
If I run Assaultcube it gives the same

Here is my xorg.conf: http://paste-it.net/public/vd905a6/
Is there some kind of essential switch or option I'm missing?
Thanks in advance

Try disabling compiz/any compositing window manager before running it. (see http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-769122.html)
You should also install proprietary drivers if available.

Sadly, none of those apply to me.
The only thing I have found out is that no matter what game I'm playing, it will die and give me that error if its in a 1024x768 resolution.
So if i go to Openarena and switch the resolution to 1024x768, it will die on me.
I'm stumped. Any ideas?
