Hello,
A dependency of a package i maintain could be resolved with either the stable version (extra) or the git-Version (AUR) of it. So, either way i chose it, some people complain. I'd prefer to stick with the stable version from extra, but it would be really nice if i could just do something like
depends=((foo or foo-git) bar)
That's not possible, isn't it? So what to prefer?

You should use just foo, if your package doesn't explicitly require the git version. The git package should be marked to provide "foo".
