Re: June 2010 Screenshots

REALLY nice setup you've got there. What's the image viewer towards the top right?

(Just watched House season 6 finale on Hulu last night....wow)

Hey, karabaja4! Great looking there. How about some "details" -- like conky info, panels/bars, applets, etc.?

Wow this is a desktop! Please share what you are using. What Panel on the bottom are you using?

Thanks. List of apps:

- Tint2 at bottom (config)
- Second empty tint2 on top for conky shading (config)
- 3 conkys (config: top, messages, weather)
- Openbox (my theme - archsys, startup - autostart.sh) with xcompmgr-dana
- On the screenshot: urxvt, smplayer, qtfm, gpicview.

karabja4: Where did you get the icons/font for the conky weather? Thanks.

Re: June 2010 Screenshots

@karabaja: found it, thanks! smile Erm, actually, this seems quite different from the "default" one from conky forge. Testing... Thanks! smile

Edit: WEEEeeeeeeee, works! Many thanks! Until now, I've had some substitution for this. It was:

{execi 60 curl -u <gmail_username>:<gmail_password> --silent "https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom" | tr -d '\n' | awk -F '<entry>' '{for (i=2; i<=NF; i++) {print $i}}' | perl -pe 's/^<title>(.*)<\/title>.*<name>(.*)<\/name>.*$/$2 - $1/'}

This one provides the name of a sender and a pm topic.
Can we somehow edit this to get the number of emails?
Which one should be more "economic" then in terms of cpu and bandwidth load? (I know it's not really important...)
Cheers! smile

Re: June 2010 Screenshots

Maybe it is because I do not have the bzr version, but the weather icons I am using with conky-forecast are plain.

Thanks.

Re: June 2010 Screenshots

The answer to my question above: add "| wc -l" to the above code I provided. Pretty easy. Looks like this:
