I just recently installed Arch on a new PC with a 4570 and decided to use the catalyst package so I can have proper 3D accel. However, it fails with:
make: *** /lib/modules/ARCH-2.6.33/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
Is it necessary to build it using the AUR way or could I build it from the .sh? or how to fix the AUR build?

You should link to the PKGBUILD you're using. Normally the directory mentioned is part of the kernel26-headers package. Note that you're running kernel 2.6.34 now if you have an up to date installation (and already rebooted after last kernel upgrade).

I have just realized that this is in the wrong section, sorry. Move if needed.
Just the normal Catalyst:

I am 99.9% sure that I have the headers...and IIRC mkinitcpio failed to create 2.6.34 kernel files. I'll check for sure and report back.

Don't you think you should fix that first, before messing around with catalyst? "2.6.34 kernel files" are kinda important.
