Hi, I know there is another topic for same problem but it is marked as solved, whereas it is NOT solved ([solved] Phun and libpng, http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=92511). Problem persists. When I go to AUR page of phun (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23724) I have seen a comment (actually it has only one comment), that the problem goes on, and symbolic link to libpng.s0.3 was not solve the problem. When I run phun I get the error code below, and phun runs without graphics.
libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.4.0
libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.2.43
libpng error: Incompatible libpng version in application and library
Is there a way to solve this bug, or do we install the previous version (phun 4.32-beta, http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=37354), which runs without error? Please help.

Have you tried the symlinking solution? It worked for me (pretty much).

libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.4.0
libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.2.43
i just built it an once i link libpng14.so.14.3.0 to libpng.so.3
phun runs
it looks like you might have two different libpng's on the system
libpng 12 in /usr/lib
and the source for libpng14 in /usr/include
--- edit ---
libpng.s0.3 is that a typo .s0 ( s zero )

ok. I removed libpng12 package, symlink libpng14.so.14.3.0 to libpng.so.3, then phun run without any problem. thank you for your help.
