[Asus Eee 1000H] problems with hibernating and touchpad

Hi. I can't find a solution for three problems:

1. I can hibernate system by pressing Fn+F1, but I don't know how to wake it up.
2. Sometimes touchpad's buttons are not responding. I have to double tap touchpad to make them working again. I use synaptic drivers.
3. I can't turn off screen by pressing Fn+F7.

Re: [Asus Eee 1000H] problems with hibernating and touchpad

I use the same netbook.
For me i can't use the Function keys as i once got some coffee on it and now two keys are 'fused' to one. (Like F1 and F2 both trigger both at once). The Fn-F1 does this do hibernate or standby? For standby i just close the lid and upon reopening it i perss a random key and it wakes up again. Normally after hibernating, you'd switch it back on witht he normal power key. Because hibernate actually shuts off the computer.

2. Dunno, my touchpad works just like that. (I don't even have any xorg conf)

3. You can also turn it off with the leftmost of those silver keys above the keyboard. Or by issuing  the command "xset dpms force off".
