What was the first programming project you participated in?

What was the first programming project you participated in?

Just that, because of curiosity, maybe some useful stuff you learnt ( like tips or something for the wannabe young programmer ), or anything else you'd want to add.

I'd post the first open source project I've participated in but... I haven't participated in any (yet) :S

Re: What was the first programming project you participated in?

I worked on anaconda in 97 for my own curiosity's sake. not a part of the major build team or anything fancy, just a twelve-year old with a lot of free time and a few too many mountain dews.

I use 'work' in a loose fashion.

Main Arch Setup: HP Pavillion p7-1209, Quad-Core i3-2120 3.3Ghz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Intel Graphics
Laptop Arch Setup: Gateway lt3103u Netbook, AMD Athlon64 1.2Ghz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, ATI X1270 R600

I worked on the GeOz Project [1], which is a branch of the Mozart Programming System [2] and will be the next release of it.

Re: What was the first programming project you participated in?

Wish I could remember my first group programming project.. but I've participated in so many of them that I've lost track. hmm

A few notables..
*A Homer Simpsons website that advertised Homer Simpson Donuts. (HTML is still considered a programming language right? big_smile ).
*A java-based Hangman-type game.
*A Warzone 2100 OS that was once based off of **Linux** now based off of Arch.
