xf86-video-intel 2.11.901 corruption

Just wanted to report that I'm having display issues with the driver from testing, I rolled back to the stable driver for the time being.

Some textures are displayed wrong (e.g. a field that is supposed to be just black has red stripes running through it) and other fields are just garbled. I also had a lockup when downloading a large image with Firefox and simultaneously checking out a subversion repo, but that might be unrelated.

I had issues with stable intel driver from extra on my thinkpad x200. random freezes while opengl apps were running.
pulling 2.11.901 from testing solved these problems.

btw: when will the latest stable driver (2.12) hit testing?

The Devs love these questions. big_smile

I can report that on eeepc 1000h everything works fine (2d and compositing much faster than 2.11.0).

Dunno but I like performance in Urban Terror with 2.12 smile

Had for some time 2.12rc and it played nicely. Now 2.12 - works great. I think JGC is on vacation so we are going to wait for a while on 2.12 to hit the repos smile
