I was wondering if there are any good mailing lists or listservs out there for Arch or GNU/Linux. I think it would be nice to have current news/info and being able to shoot questions around via a mailing list where specialized people and Linux lovers can give advice, and share news.
Is this kind of thing dead and in the past? No more security mail lists floating around? Is everything stuck on BBSes and IRC channels?

@karol: wrong thread?
For Arch, there is http://mailman.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/ . For others, consult your username...

Hello Allan, can you give some more info about the Arch lists? For example, on average how many mails are sent per day (or week) etc ?
Thanks!

That prompted a giggle.
@Google (not giggle), please mark solved if you consider it solved.
Allan-Volunteer on the (topic being discussed) mailn lists. You never get the people who matters attention on the forums.
