Hi,
Am new to Arch. Have installed it on my eee 701, but when running as a user am unable to mount my sd card in xfce. As root its fine.
I get this msg

Hal is set to start in /etc/rc.conf

Try udev. Is your reader OK? Is the card recongized - does it show in dmesg?

Works fine as root - so would seem to be perms.
