Hi there.
I'm the maintainer of the package 'kernel26-pentium-m', which I have updated recently.. and you can find it here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=33104
It builds but when starting the system with that kernel, it will stop in the beginning, when finding the /dev/ stuff.. (it won't even start udev, daemons and the user configs of rc.conf)
After all, all I get is a *weird* shell in 'ramfs', I can't even access the /dev/sda partitions
What has changed in the new update:
> copied the core/kernel26 PKGBUILD, changed things (the basic configs) - added the ZEN patchset as usual
Long time i dont copy & edit the stock kernel PKGBUILD..
So I don't know.. Where did it all go wrong?
Help me out please;
Thanks in advance

the pictures taken to the kernel panic are here: http://web.ist.utl.pt/~nuno.j.aniceto/kernel_panic/
ignore the first ones, the latest ones have better quality and description

check/re-create initrd
make sure that you have enough space for
maybe post your mkinitcpio.conf and some data regarding hardware?
hope this will help

well I will say more things, but let me ask something: when I "edited" the PKGBUILD, I was using the package_kernel26() function (which builds the package)..
Now I have changed its name to package_kernel26-pentium-m() (according to the wiki)..
Will it work ??
tia..
