No. really just before posting this I could not access the site for more than 15 mins whereas I can access the other sites without any problem

You can always use the link I posted: to check (of course it works with every page, not just archlinux).

A: It's just you. http://archlinux.org  is up.

Maybe the webserver was in some brief maintenance, idk.
