[solved] GDM - Users and Groups

Can someone with the Users and Groups menu item under System -> Administration (the command is 'users-admin', or so I believe) tell me which package contains it?

pacman -Ql | grep users-admin

should tell you which it is if you're unsure. Thanks.

Re: [solved] GDM - Users and Groups

So which package has it? tongue

I'm asking because I don't have it installed, and I can't find it with 'pacman -Ss users', so it must be grouped together with another package. I'd like to avoid installing every package that I don't have installed from gnome-extra, one-by-one, until I find it, unless I have no other choice.

Re: [solved] GDM - Users and Groups

# pacman -S pkgtools
# pkgfile -u
pkgfile users-admin

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

That's the one, thanks guys.

And thanks for the other ways to find out package ownership info, far better than the way I was using.
