I wanna install Archlinux on my raid0 (intel ich8) setup. But I could not install because of a bug; "ERROR: dos: partition address past end of RAID device."
well after activating dmraid with "modprobe dm_mod" and starting dmraid with "dmraid -ay" commands, this error message appears and my already fixed partition table can not be seen by the setup and it tries to create a new partition like "/dev/mapper/isw_sdjkfshkf_Volume0p1".
Well I tried to install with last core iso 64bit and I already use Ubuntu 10.04 on the raid0 setup.
is there any way to use dmraid correctly and complete the installation?
-----
Btw there are 3 partition on the raid0 setup. Volume01/ Volume05/ Volume06
01 is primary partition and 05/06 are logical ones unter extended. Dmraid sees Volume0p1 correctl as 25gb but the problem is the other 2 partition cant be seen by dmraid.
These outputs from my Ubuntu installation...
