Re: System specs

AOpen 1557-G Laptop:

1.7GHz P-M (Banias)
1GB Kingston PC2700DDR RAM
Mobility Radeon 9600 64MB
Intel 2200BG wireless
Broadcom 440x NIC
Integrated Audio
60GB 7200RPM HDD
4x DVD+R, 16x CD-R burner
15" SXGA+ screen, native res 1400x1050
Weighs only 6lbs.

Performs suprisingly well and offers a lot of room to tinker around in Linux because of the hardware... that and my only moderate understanding of everything Linux. However, I seem to learn something new each day. wink

Re: System specs

Maybe its a idee to add system specs to the formum profile? That couth be handy if someone has a problem with there hardware. And beside that people seem to like showing off there "specs".

Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em, 'Certainly I can!' Then get busy and find out how to do it.
