Evolution: Chromium now default browser

Annoying issue I've not manage to tackle yet:
For reasons beyond me, Chromium has become Evolution's default browser. This is annoying, because Firefox is my default browser and I'd like to click on a link and have it opened in Firefox, not Chromium. I've not been able to find how to change this, or how it was changed in the first place.

Any idea's?

I'm running XFCE4, so not every default Gnome config thingy is installed.

Chromium asks if you want it to be the default browser.

Go to "Options" and at the bottom you should have "Default Browser" settings.

Yes... but it's not the system wide default browser, ONLY in Evolution. Nowhere else...

Re: Evolution: Chromium now default browser

If you're using gconf you can change the keys "/desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http" and "desktop/gnome/url-handlers/https".

More info here.

Re: Evolution: Chromium now default browser

$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http
 command = firefox %s
 need-terminal = false
 needs_terminal = false
 enabled = true
$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/https
 command = firefox %s
 need-terminal = false
 needs_terminal = false
 enabled = true

Even after stopping Evolution completely (including extra processes), and starting it again, any link I click is still handled by Chromium. I really don't want to uninstall Chromium, I want to fix this tongue

$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/applications/browser
 nremote = true
 exec = mozilla
 needs_term = false
