[LaTex] random enumerate

Hello guys,

I'm looking for a way to randomise an enumerate environment. Apart from this every single item should be displayed only once and the range of the list should be still in order. So I only want to have mixed the item contents but not the item numbers itself.

I hope you understand what I want from you experts. smile

Best regards

Re: [LaTex] random enumerate

so basically like a multiple choice test with mixed up answers?  say...
A.) 42
B.) Only C
C.) A or B
D.) All of the above

could also be displayed as

A.) A or B
B.) 42
C.) All of the Above
D.) only C

So do you want this randomized on a page by page basis?  or just once? or what?

Re: [LaTex] random enumerate

This is exactly what I want, yes.

What do you mean by page basis?

Well only just once in that \begin{enumerate}\end{enumerate} block.

Re: [LaTex] random enumerate

okay, I think this might be what you are looking for then.
it's the eqexam package
according to the documentation, this package provides several handy features for making exams,
including a 'randomize answer' utility.  hopefully this suits your needs.
