what's up with pacman servers lately ? some mirrors are many weeks behind, others will drop my downloads after a couple seconds, some are just butt slow ..
it didnt use to be like that .. i've just spent the last 20 minutes trying to download wine 1.2 (11 megabytes), and after trying about 5 servers and resuming about 12 times (which is unreliable at best since they all seem to have different versions of packages) , i'm still at about 52%..
anything going on ? . .. ......

Any particular server(s) misbehaving?
If you need one or two packages in a hurry, you can download them by hand.

Use reflector to get a good mirrorlist.
If that doesn't help maybe its something to do with your connection.

Unfortunately, reflector was re-written in bash and sth went not-quite-right. I often got _really_ slow mirrors even though I asked for the fastest ones.
