VMWare Server Installed from AUR Broken On Reboot

Hi Guys,

Wasn't sure which forum to put this in.

I installed VMWare Server 2.02 from the AUR successfully a few weeks ago and it worked without a hitch straight out of the AUR. Very surprising for VMWare smile

It was working perfectly, then I rebooted my Arch server and now VMWare will not start.

I have tired to reinstall from the AUR but it is still failing to start:

$ sudo /etc/rc.d/vmware start
:: Starting VMware Server          [FAIL]

Can anyone tell me how to figure out what is causing it to fail to start?

Thanks.

Re: VMWare Server Installed from AUR Broken On Reboot

Have you updated your kernel before the reboot? You might need to rebuild the services against your current running kernel.
