Battery status in prompt:
local battery=$(ibam --percentbattery|head -1|awk '{print $3}')
# and put $battery in your prompt somewhere, I do it like this:
dir_status="%{$c1%}%n%{$c4%}@%{$c7%}%{$c10%}%m%{$c0%}:%{$c3%}%l%{$c6%}->%{$c4%}%/%{$c0%}[%{$c0%}%{$c10%}%{$bold%}%{$battery%}%{$c11%}%%%{$c0%}%{$c0%}]%{$c0%}"
PROMPT='%{$fg_bold[green]%}%p%{$reset_color%}${vcs_info_msg_0_}${dir_status}${ret_status}%{$reset_color%}
MPD status in screen (you can ofc use mpc or whatever to generate the output):
backtick 1 10 5 $HOME/bin/mpd_in_screen
hardstatus alwayslastline "%?%{ky}%-Lw%?%{yk}%n*%f %t%?(%u)%?%?%{ky}%+Lw%?%{Ky}| %{ky}RPD: %{ky}%1`"

How to have such clock as yours in bottom right corner?
Offline
@ dmz
Ive been silently admiring your colors for a while now and I just have to ask how do you do it? How do you make ls and cat look like that? It looks like your using 256 colors, correct?
Basically I want to know what are the required configs and stuff needed to get make all my consoles look exactly like yours?

I'm just starting to use irssi, can u tell me how to turn off those gory details when anyone joins or leaves? as u have done. And nice clock btw

@Soumyadeep
it's just the irssi theme, here's the one I use: c00kiez theme
@anabolikas
The clock is a conky script I took from a post on ubuntu forums if I remember well, I fixed some bugs and got a nicer smaller font (for my taste) and have it show whenever I click the clock on tint-panel
Here it is: clock conky

If I'm not mistaken, the wallpaper is the art of Gary Tonge. I'm a big fan of his work.

My netbook. The screenshot script barely fits on the screen. lol
